A group of five of us dined here. The restaurant is aa old 1970s style cafe, so do not expect to be blown away by the decor but it's really neat that they have maintained the original fittings and furniture. The dinning area is small to medium sized and would probably seat 30 -35 people in different configurations. With a few other tables filled with diners, there was a moderate buzz in the restaurant but not so loud that we couldn't hear each other talk. Our wait staff seated us and returned to take drink orders and drop off the menus. They have a fairly good selection of wine and drinks available along with Greek beer. They staff were happy to discuss the menu with us and offer advice on portion size for the starters and also explain the mains. We ordered the mixed starter which had a selection of all the starters and added on an extra dish of the octopus. The food was just great, everything looked and tasted fresh and looked vibrant. The fresh made pita bread was probably the best I have ever had, and having lived in the Mid East for over ten years I have had a lot of pita breads. Everyone enjoyed our mains, the moussaka, the seafood soup, slow cooked lamb, everything was perfectly cooked and presented. Some dishes come with a side of greens and the fish soup cake with more pita bread to soak up the last morsels of soup. We also ordered a couple of salads to share, a Greek salad which was fairly small but enough for two and a Santorini?? Salad which was bigger. Both salads were fresh and dressed with plenty of olive oil and they were loaded with olives, and a very nice feta cheese. We finished our meal with a Greek coffee and a couple in our party had deserts. Overall we couldn't fault the meal or the service. Everyone had plenty to eat and there were three big kiwi guys in our party. The menu isn't exhaustive but there is something for everyone and even a vegetarian moussaka for those that prefer not to eat meat. It's not fine dinning but it is great quality food prepared with a bit of love from the kitchen. I will definitely be visiting this place again for some authentic Greek food.
