Spent a night here on one of our road trips and we were pleasantly surprised at the difference in quality in Camp sites in New Zealand, compared to the UK. Ok, so the unit we stayed in was pretty basic but given the cost, we have no complaints whatsoever. The site itself is spotless and amenities are plentiful. Each unit has it's own cupboard in the kitchen/dining area where there are all the utensils you need to cook whatever you fancy on the cookers provided. All in all, a very pleasant stay in a great location!

The reception and good and helpful and we got to pick a pitch. Large site but we drove around twice to find a level pitch. The kitchens were clean but devoid of pans and utensils. The showers/toilets are big but many of the showers have curtains instead of doors. Some showers did not have hot water and the others Luke warm. The unit looks old and rundown. It is also 8 km out of Pahia. There are nicer sites near Pahia falls.

Very quiet park amenities laundry kitchen etc very clean well maintained self contained cabin very quiet had fan even had aromatic electric candle burner nice little touch free wi fi first then buy if needed - only issue as headbord was not txt head to bed - expect 10 minute drive into Paihia close to countdown shopping centre - great shower plenty hot water

Room Tip: Cabins further eat away from roadside

This is a tranquil place to stay. It has a lovely setting with a pool. We stayed in a very clean and comfortable cabin with the added touches of towels laid out as if it were a 5 star hotel! It is central to Paihia and other historic places without being in the noisy part of the town.

Owner was arrogant and aggressive, the amenities where old and unkempt. There were drunk people making noise all night. There were holes in the roof of the amenities building. If your thinking of going anywhere don't go here.
