The hotel was in a fantastic location , right in the heart of New Plymouth. The rooms were small but had everything you needed and the decor was so beautiful and tasteful. Lovely shower with great pressure and the bed was comfy.

Room Tip: We were in room 10, not street facing, I think street facing can get quite noisy on sat night

Immaculate, very clean and very comfortable place to stay. my room was one of the smaller rooms but the last one available (shows how popular this place would be) and was travelling solo so I fitted in perfectly. Absolute value for money and I would stay there again on my next trip with my wife this time.

Extremely extremely poor stay. Photos of what we were showed were not what we received, much for false advertising. For a four star hotel it very much felt like a cheap prison like basement in a very fancy hotel. The room was extremely smaller than imaged. The 'environmentally friendly' LED were a waste of space as no light was given off them. In order to have the slightest bit of light we had to turn on every light, including the bathroom. There was no natural light. The serve was shocking, just a unwelcoming speaker. The walk from the back alley also known as the 'carpark' was extremely embarrassing. I wouldn't call this a homely stay let alone a four star hotel, not for the price that was paid. Potentially another room could have been nicer but most definitely would not recommend it and am debating weather or not to continue my stay.

Great location close to everything you could need. No fuss approach which is what I like... I travel for work so it's very convenient. The only downside would be the parking which can be a bit limited.

My wife and i had a lovely two night stay in room 9 south facing across Gover St .The hotel is above joes garage bistro ,good complimentary parking at rear for 6 vehicles , we arrived mid afternoon to an automated entry sys covered CCTV .
The hotel is spotless ,trendy and contemporary with a luxury finish which we liked a lot .The room has everything you could ask for and is finished to a high standard and the wifi is excellent. There is a small complimentary laundry ideal ....there is slightly limited natural light with only one small long vertical clear window but it was sufficient .The bed was very comfortable and a great compact shower also good TV channels .We had a wonderful 2 night stay all in all a excellent hotel , my only criticism which is unavoidable and beyond the hotels spectrum was the 05:03 wake from loud noise , banging and hydraulics sounds from the heavy duty gabby collection i believe outside .... otherwise i would of given 5 stars without question .
