We did not book ahead and due to simmer being fully booked on a Friday night sat outside in the icey cold winter frost and could have benefited from an outdoor heater. We ordered bread and chips as a starter and while the double cooked chips we’re crispy and tasty the garlic bread was soaky and bitter. The chicken was delicious and the calamari was tasty. The Thai beef salad was voted the best. The new menu is more of a bar menu and highly suited. If you would like a table book ahead.
