In January while on holiday , my brother took me to his daily coffee haunt and I was very pleased to report that the coffee, lunch and dinners that I had over the four days I was there, were suburb. On first glance this place looks like a bar so I was pleasantly surprised by the great friendly service and food. Keep up the great work ladies.

Just happened by when looking for somewhere to catch up on some work over lunch. Very central and well positioned. The soup I had was excellent and very well priced. However the stand out of this place were the two young women who provided the service. It was outstanding ... veery friendly, efficient and effective. They provided a service rare seen in NZ.

We had a breakfast here and most of it was lovely although it did take a long time to come considering it was very quiet. We did end up with two very hard poached eggs which was a shame as everything else was lovely. Yummy choices and we got the impression it was slightly upmarket.

We stopped here for a coffee and then after one sip decided to ask for the menu. The coffee was out of this world. So creamy and delicious! We ordered toasted sandwiches, which took a while to get but it was well worth it. I had a vegan with three fillings and my boyfriend asked for extra two fillings with his. We have enjoyed our breakfast immensely. The barrista was super chatty and helpful, not just to us but to everyone who came in.
It was a great atmosphere inside and it really appeard that she was genuinely loving her job and it made a huge difference. I would love to come back for a coffee again.

Went for breakfast. the breakfast was beautifully cooked - bacon and eggs for $9 special. Delicious. Could not compliment the manager (barister) making the coffee enough for the perfect coffee - she said that a couple of years ago she had come 3rd in the barister competitions in NZ. She came and chatted with us when she bought the coffee and breakfast over - is passionate about being there. A very large cafe with not many people except regulars when we went but dont be put off - its excellent.
