We were surprised to find that the advertised free WiFi that was advertised with our booking material was in fact a limited cap of 1GB and that additional usage would be charged extra. I have stayed at the Knightsbridge on business trips twice before with unlimited WiFi. When I tried to explain this to the staff I was fobbed of with the explanation that we had used a different booking agent and not booked direct.
In summary the motelier did not want to listen to my concerns.
To me this is a cheap pitch and treating guests with a 2 tier class distinction. In my book all guests should be treated the same, especially repeat customers who are trying to show some sort of loyalty. It also smack of false advertising and trying to make a quick buck out of customer add ons.
All in all a poor show Knightsbridge.More
