When we arrived we were told they had double booked, preferring a booking for a three night stay to our one night stay. We were told that other accommodation had been booked for us at the same price. As we had been dropped off by bus, he gave us taxi fare to the other venue. We were unable to get a one bedroom apartment as requested and we had to pay the price of Hagley Park Motel for cheaper accommodation. We had no choice, it was late we were tired, we were not happy.

Room Tip: No room, look elsewhere.

Arrived 3pm for our 3 night stay, checked in smoothly, given a few bits of info. Discovered that room had not quite been finished for checking in, some linen and manchester missing. All was supplied upon request, even the toilet paper that had run out during the night and no extra was found.
Left for a day trip next morning, on our return, used towels etc had been removed but again, no replacements. Called at reception 3 times,but was unmanned. Tried calling the motel number, was redirected and phone rung out, had to resort to sending an email to inform them of their oversight. Not having a happy stay at all. Come on Angus, you've dropped the ball. These are simple guest amenities. It seems to be a one man show apart from a couple of foreign girls helping out yesterday.
On a plus, we had a visit from a lovely friendly cat that stayed with us for a few hours.

I booked and paid up front for the room via Trip Advisor but when I arrived the owner, Angus, had to record of the booking. He said he did not have reciprocity for bookings with Trip Advisor and never heard of Tingo. He did have an available room, however, but I had to pay again directly to him. I was able to contact Tingo who did refund my original payment, so everything worked out, but it did take some time and quite a few Skype calls which was annoying. Room was comfortable and clean and had a washing machine which was helpful. Angus was helpful but friendly but obviously needs to get his bookings better organized.

We arrived at the hotel but were not able to use the room as it was not cleaned properly from the last guests with no new bedding, the bed was also broken missing a leg. The smell was so bad that the owner agreed to move us to another hotel. We had paid full from our bank account card. He then put the no show charge to our credit card anyway and I'm still trying to claim it back. The owner is dishonest.

We arrived having booked on booking. Com,having foolishly paid before seeing the room, the family room was the filthiest and bad smelling room I have ever been in,the linin had not been changed in weeks and everything was very worn (including the bed missing the leg) Angus the owner made many excuses as to the state.It was no coincidence that whilst arguing with him other guests were asking for their clean towels etc as they had not been cleaned.to cut a very long story short we had to move hotel as the room was not fit for a dog. To top it all off we are now having to dispute with booking.com as Angus told them we did not show and as such have to pay again a nights tariff.
Don't get ripped off by this hotel, there are plenty of others to choose from in that area
