One issue started as soon as we arrived. Friday night drinks can get noisy and the acoustics here aren't great with a lot of hard surfaces. It did quieten down a bit when the drinkers left leaving the diners.
But the night was totally redeemed by good food and great staff.
The staff are wonderful - knowledgeable, friendly and caring.
My 1st glass of wine was dull. The waiter agreed that it wasn't up to par and replaced it (after I had finished it) no questions asked and with apologies. Many places wouldn't have handled it so well.
The venison was perfectly cooked and presented but some may need a side of veggies to supplement the beans it comes with. But it was oh so nice.
I liked the dessert but the churros chocolate and orange sauce would have been better with dark rather than milk chocolate - it tasted a bit orange peely.
Overall it was a good night with good company, good food and good staff.
