This motel is on a quiet street, a 10 minute walk from the hagley park and a 5 minute walk from the Riccarton Mall. We had taken a studio and the rooms were very comfortable. Steve & Sue are knowledgeable and very helpful. Gave us plenty of friendly tips / advice on planning our trip down the south island. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ashleigh court motel.

We enjoyed staying at Ashleigh Court, it was quiet, close to the central city, with clean and well set up rooms, very helpful and friendly owner/operators all set in pleasant grounds. We'd use it again.

Under the trees in a quiet upscale residential neighborhood. Easy walk to Mona Vale. Close to Hagley Park. Well maintained. Comfortable bed. Scent-free cleaning products (much appreciated). Helpful friendly hosts. Fully stocked kitchenette. A large shopping mall and supermarket are a 10-15 minute walk to the west, and downtown Christchurch is through Hagley Park to the east.

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our NZ trip. The motel was easy to find and located in a residential area, so lovely and quiet. The room was comfortable and clean.
We only had one full day in Christchurch and Steve wasextremely helpful in helping us make the most of the time we had. He is very knowledgeable about the local area.
It is an easy 20 minute walk through Hagley Park to reach the city centre and the motel is also well located for the airport. We loved Christchurch and the surrounding area - the Port Hills and Sumner were lovely and the botanical gardens are well worth a visit. We only wished we could have spent more time exploring. We will definitely stay longer in Christchurch on our next NZ visit.

I chose this motel based on the reviews before booking. We spent the first night here on arrival to Christchurch on a 14 days trip of South Island. On the last 3 days of our trip, we came back to this motel and we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a 2 bedroom unit. Obviously my 14yr old son was really happy to have his own room

Location is great! Quiet and convenient to the shops and restaurants. We walked to the city via Hagley Park and the Botanical Gardens. Cheap to use the laundry. I just hung up the clothes on the lines after washing in the machine.

Steve and Sue are great hosts. Very friendly and easy going. Almost felt we have known them for some time in 4 days! I hope all the guests will cooperate and be responsible, to ensure they keep their rooms and facilities in good order so that this motel is affordable for others.

We had a great stay in Christchurch. Thank you Steve and Sue.
