In the morning there was quite a queue of cars to the resort. If you want to get your car to walking distance, you need to be early. But there is a shuttle service, so no worries.
When we were there on August, snow conditions were not the best ones.

Coronet is much like many other New Zealand ski fields. Drive up a windy mountain road to a wide open treeless ski field. Terrain is somewhat varied, the lift system is small but fast and modern, basic services at the base are adequate, food is reasonably good, and grooming and snow making is okay. It is a bit bigger than Oahu or Trble Cone but not much different. You can have a good time there.

Such a fantastic day and night. Skiied and snowboarded all day and then watched Che fu and hilltop hoods at night. What more could you want. Such a wicked experience that I will hold dearly in my memories. Well done.

Glad you had a chance to experience one of our three Elevate night ski concerts. Every night ski is accompanied by beats but those three which included Hilltop Hoods last season are big.
Kind regards
Nigel

Closest from Queenstown, easy to drive there and spend good time on the slope. Not very large but good fun. Good for warmup ;-)

This is our second visit to coronet peak and had a great time! My husband and 2 sons 8 & 10 have boarded and skied across the entire mountain and loved it.

Great for all levels but the runs are quite short compare to Europe.

We used the child minding facilities for our 1 year old, 9-4 and had a good experience, you have to book early though and pay in advance. You have to provide dinners and snacks as you do in daycare but when they turn 2 they provide them.

Good eating facilities, nothing amazing but ok food with big size potions. Good bar too for that afternoon bottle or two of corona.

Loads of rental facilities and a little shop if you’ve forgotten anything.

Lots of tables to eat but can get very busy in peak season.

The staff are great and the mountain patrol and medical team are very efficient and friendly, I had the pleasure of meeting them when I twisted my knee on the field... nature if the beast....

Fields are well groomed and the snow cannons were on loads.

Lifts are good and move at good pace.

There are plenty of lessons for skiers and boards of all ages and levels.

It’s a good drive up the mountain but if you don’t feel comfortable you can get a bus at the bottom that will take you up to the drop off point.

Chains must always be carried too, we’ve not used them this holiday but we did last year.

All in all great holiday if your a family, couple or group of friends!
