We stayed for 3 nights to visit the Dubbo Zoo and found this caravan park to have great amenities and so much for the kids to do, pool, water park, giant jumping pillow, games room, bmx track! It’s only a short bike ride to the zoo and lots of places to eat nearby.

Tent 77 appeared brand new and spotless, same goes for kitchenette, ensuite and bbq.
Bed very comfortable.
Reverse cycle heating struggled overnight but it was -3 outside.
Power usage must be very high heating these canvas tents in such a cold climate.

The rest of the park was very clean and well maintained, great place for kids!

Handy to the zoo.

I stayed In a Caravan on a powered, ensuite site which was quite good. The BMX ttack was little dissappointing and the pool was quite small. Itbwas great being a 5 minute drive away from the zoo too. It was a great 1 weeks stay and would reccommend it for families with young children.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom deluxe cabin. It was lovely and clean, modern and great play area for kids. Location was perfect being so close to the zoo. The beds were unbelievably comfortable, the kids even commented on how well they slept in their comfy beds. Will definitely return.

Spent 9 nights on powered site recently (C11). Good site very roomy and very level. We had a few trees around us and we backed onto higher cabin area. Site was very protected when wind came up. Nice sunny spot during morning. Clean amenities block and we enjoyed the radio playing. Maybe some bathmats could be only improvement as even with shower curtains, water gets out underneath. Very friendly staff especially Chris, the maintenance man. We had problem with blocked drain pipe and Chris was there unblocking it even before we walked back from reception. We were sorry we did not get to say thank you and goodbye when we left. He always had a couple of minutes to talk. Very close to Zoo. Heard monkeys and lions during night. Not far from shops as well. Thanks Dubbo for great holiday. Glen and Karen
