Stayed in a deluxe cabin, great heating, TV, full kitchen, separate bedroom and bathroom. Very clean, linen provided and the bed was very comfortable. Park right out the front of the cabin. We didn't need the camp kitchen but it looked very serviceable. Next to check in is a big laundry should you need it. Very close the the blue lake.

Firstly, when you arrive at the caravan park and see the office, turn around and look across the street…that's where the main park is, so don't be influenced by the part behind the office. We called ahead as we wanted a cabin because our camper trailer was playing up so we weren't looking forward to the hassle of it again. I asked if they had sufficient room to park my camper up against the cabin, no problem with that they said!

So we were given a deluxe cabin, actually very clean and the bed wasn't too bad. Minimal kitchen utensils but enough for the 2 of us. The only problem was the fridge - it was too cold, so cold in fact that all our food froze! And we had it turned down to the lowest setting too. I reported this to the office and they arranged to have a fridge mechanic come in (but not until after we had left) and check it over. Overall the stay was good although I would warn people with long caravans, there isn't much room there to move them around and some people might find they have a lot of trouble parking their vans.

Park is definitely for the overnighter and budget traveler. Basic amenities which are in need of a good plumbing check. Taps hammer like crazy when you turn them on, shower head leaking and taps hard to turn on and off. Burnt my arm because it took so long to turn the tap. Cheap park but you get what you pay for

Great little park in centre of town. Walk to shops, restaurants and even a longish walk to Blue Lake. Lush grassed sites but no drains. Good large amenities block nice and clean. Indoor kitchen but sink for washing up is outdoors. Family/TV/lounge room. Friendly staff.

Room Tip: Not many caravan sites but all are grassed and the place is mostly cabins

Situated in the CBD of Mount Gambier you are basically within walking distance of everything. Commercial St. which is the main street of the Mount is literally only metres away.
The Park itself comprises mainly powered grassed sites, some of them are large but a lot are very tight and suitable only for smaller vans. Site 25 is probably one of the bigger sites in the Park and suited us perfectly.
Amenities Block is up to scratch and served our needs well.
Sleep quality is surprisingly good.
Good TV and telephone reception here.

Room Tip: Powered site 25, large, reasonably sheltered and next to the amenities.
