Description: Wine has always been the hero in our Restaurant. The 7-course Discovery Menu is our signature experience; each course is inspired by one of our wines. Head chef, Santiago Fernandez and his team also take inspiration from the vineyards and winemaking process in creating dishes that bring a small part of our Estate to the table. Our 4-course Discovery Menu is a taster of the 7-course, for those with limited time, either matched to our recommendations or selected from our extensive wine list. We were delighted to be awarded one Hat as part of the 2018 Good Food Guide Awards. As our menus are a journey of discovery, we recommend you don’t view the menu in advance but if you can’t wait, take a sneak peek at the latest seasonal 7-course and 4-course menus on our website.

This vineyard has a beautiful surrounding for much photo taking. We had a 4 course lunch with recommended wine pairing. The service is very good and I think our early reservation has helped to get the best seat with a nice view.

What a beautiful vineyard. Driving through the lovely laden vines, then viewing the huge Australian flag, walking through the magnificent gardens to the veg garden, the manicured lawns, then into the well designed building to the friendly cellar door staff, all of this being a wonderful experience. Inside the building was a visual delight, and although we didn't dine, the high end dining room looked spectacular. Surely the finest vineyard in Margaret River area.

A group of us settled in for a long lunch and had to ring our driver twice to delay our departure - it was that good!

The room is traditional luxe winery restaurant very nicely decorated though a little formal, but on a warmish day shorts were not a problem.

Staff were extremely knowledgeable, courteous and obliging which certainly contributed to the experience.

We experienced their 7-course discovery menu which head chef Santiago matches beautifully with the Estate’s wines. After a series of inspiring ‘Amuse’ which heightened our appetite for what was ahead we started the meal proper. Highlights included a blue swimmer crab Txangurro, a quail ‘popsicle’ with scallop and shiitake and a delightful desert of berries, panna cotta and rosella! Sadly, a beautiful piece of venison loin was slightly over cooked which shouldn’t have detracted from the total experience.

Wines to accompany had a few surprises all of which married beautifully with the food.

Dear tshields

Thank you for your review and we are pleased we lived up to expectations. Chef Santi strives to create not only delicious dishes that compliment the wines but are also visually pleasing.

I have shared the comment with the chef regarding one of the dishes, we are glad it didn't detract from the experience.

Kind regards

We had 7 course tasting menu with wine pairing for lunch. Every dish was perfectly cooked and displayed. Very delicious but no wow factor in the meal. Most of wines are good but not great. Will recommend for a visit!
