The chef, Virat Vij, is absolutely fantastic, has extensive background experience including teaching at the Cordon Bleu culinary school for 3 years. God bless him for ending up in Nelson. Casual dining experience, but he makes it extremely personal. We had a GF in our group and he made him separate Dosas (bread) and appetizers that would accommodate.
His food: he makes each curry as he goes, so you really get not only the flavor of the dish you ordered (e.g. Chicken Tikka Masala) but his own style of the taste. Chef Vij is also a great guy to talk to. Excellent experience all around.
