Always a nice place to visit, lush and green after recent rain. A great place to wander around with clear paths. A concert was happening when I visited
Beautiful gardens and an excellent Japanese cultural exhibition. So relaxing and pretty. Came in March and definitely want to come back in Spring to see all the flowers blooming.
A beautifully laid out traditional Japanese Garden - in fact the largest in the Southern Hemisphere! Very pleasant stroll from the ground level shop up the hill to the lookouts. A bit scary to be told snakes had been seen but fortunately we avoided any encounter!
On a very hot day the Japanese Gardens were so relaxing and felt so cool being there. Plenty of shady spots to sit, watch the ducks and fish you can buy food to feed the ducks.
The walking path around the gardens are easy and accessible for everyone to enjoy.
The traditional Japanese hut and house are a great to check out.
The staff are very friendly and the gift shop has some lovely items.
I very impressed by the size of the gardens and the gardens are meticulously maintained.
What a really special place. Larger than we expected and immaculately kept. A real jewel in Cowra. Small bonsi collection is amazing.
On an absolutely boiling hot day, the Japanese Gardens were like an oasis. There are plenty of shady spots to sit and watch the ducks and fish, and enjoy the cool breeze. You can buy food to feed them, which our daughter loved doing.
The walking path around the gardens makes it easy and accessible for all to enjoy.

We were certainly very impressed by the size of the gardens and the way the gardens are meticulously maintained. Incredible to look through the fence to the neighbouring land and see how the landscape once was...just bracken, bush and undergrowth, and now is transformed into a place of peace and sanctuary.
