Booking online and checking in was easy, Sarah (in reception) was a delight. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful especially with advice about what to see and where to go.
We were in room 26 at the back of the motel. It was lovely and quiet. The room is not large but very cozy and comfortable. The bed was very good, electric blankets, lovely fresh linen and plenty of pillows.
The shower was great. It's the old fashioned shower head so the water is soft when it hits you. Piping hot if that's your thing.
Breakfast was served in the dining room. Plenty of choices from a hot and cold buffet.
Our room also had a microwave and toaster as well as the usual tea/coffee items.
The location is also a winner, situated on Katoomba Street right near the cafes, restaurants and shops.
We will stay there again.
The price was excellent, $230 total for two people, two nights with breakfast.

We arrived late on a Sunday afternoon to Katoomba and went into a couple extremely expensive hotels and decided that we would be out and about and did not need to spend $300 a night, on a mid week stay in Katoomba. We checked on line and went into the Katoomba Town Centre motel. Located right in town close to shops and restaurants.
We got a great deal for two nights well under the price of earlier places visited. It was freezing outside. There was nothing flash about our room but very comfortable. Put the heater on and used electric blankets on a comfortable bed and we were toastie and warm. Staff were lovely the whole time. Walked up the street for dinner to a great pizza place and on our second night down the street to a slightly more upmarket Chinese restaurant that also provided a wonderful meal.We had decided on breakfast in the little room upstairs. Great food by Liz. The was a full buffet breakfast, home cooked style, just we we needed for our two days in the mountains. Excellent value. A great place to stay on our 10 day driving adventure in NSW...thanks to the team at the Katoomba Town Centre.

Room Tip: We had a downstairs room towards the back of the motel.

We had the room with the spa. It's probably the biggest spa I've ever seen. The room itself is big with a huge bed and electric blankets. A bottle of wine was waiting on the table for us when we arrived which was a nice touch. Breakfast was pretty good, but plunger coffee would be a nice addition.
The price was good and the location couldn't be better. We're very happy with our experience.

A lovely budget accommodation very clean and right in the town center. Fresh towels everyday and all you can eat breakfast for $12. The shower is beautiful and hot and good pressure. The Superior Family room with the bunk beds are spacious and easy to move around for 4 adults. This is a great standard Budget accommodation.

This is good value budget accommodation in a good location. The rooms are small - so are good if you are only staying one night or only need somewhere to rest your head. We selected the option to have the breakfast included in our room rate - it was not much more than the room alone. The breakfast was very disappointing - we probably got what we paid for but would have happily paid a little more for better quality (things like pancakes, hash browns, French toast etc were very dry and really not edible - and we were fairly early for breakfast). Next time I think I would just select the room rate only, and spend my breakfast money elsewhere.
