Now, When you pay for an appartment that advertised for cable TV (foxtel ) included in the price. You expect to get cable. We were planning to go out during the day and spend the night on the balcony and watch movies at night...as we are no party animals and not restaurant people plus we had a kid with us.

We had planned to watch movies and eat with drinks at night. but when the time came to turn the tv and look for foxtel....we couldnt find the channel, then we looked for instructions on how to use it, but nothing. So we went to knock the door of the owners. He gave us an instruction on going to AV and just change channels...but that didn't work. So 10 minutes after we had to knock the door again. This time the wife came out but she had no clue what was going on and why we couldnt use the foxtel...the husband who knew what was going on...refused to come and fix. So the wife said that he was going to come and fix the problem first time in the morning.

Now, I find outrageous that they had no clue on how their own service work and that they don't check their own properties to make sure that everything is working.

The next day they said they were going to fix it in the afternoon while we were out, but when we arrived., We could not work it out again.

So we called them, but no answer. I knocked the door but nobody opened. Called the owner again, but he said he already fixed it and that is all he could do....sorry bad luck.

These people seem to think that is all ok. I think they are committing fraud by advertising for something that they don't offer....and think they can get away with it because they are the owners.

At the end the guy ended up coming into the apartment and I was just surprised that he obviously didn't come to the apartment to fix it as he promised because he had no clue why the foxtel channels were not showing up...until he hit the number 900 channels after 30 minutes of looking for the channels. I told him that he needed to put some instructions on how to get the foxtel and that he needs to check the apartment for everything to be working.

As the the drier was not working either and we had to ask for an iron...too.

These was advertised as a 4star apartment...but it hardly makes 3stars, and if the owners don't know what works and what does not work in their own apartment...and they don't check before renting it...they will soon out of business...I WILL NEVER GO TO THAT PLACE AGAIN....I DIDN'T LIKE THEIR ATTITUDE....THEY NEED TO ENSURE THAT EVERYTHING IS WORKING SO THAT WE DON'T HAVE TO KNOCK THEIR DOOR AT ANY TIME. VERY LAZY....AND WITH A VERY BAD ATTITUDE...DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE...there are plenty places with a fur more better places.

Room Tip: dont go to this place..ask for stairs, if the cable and electronics work.

My little family stayed in this amazing property! Great facilities excellent location with it Amazing views from the roof top this property has it own private jetty and secure parking. Tripcony quays is perfectly located just leave your car and go everything you need is within walking distance.
Does not have a lift but the climb is well worth it with its spacious rooms and great views from the balcony.

managment team of Jim and Joanne were very welcoming and couldn't ask for any better customer service.

I wouldn't have any issues recommending this amazing property to anyone visiting caloundra area.

We booked for 5 people, including 3 children. Received email confirmation for 5 from Tripcony. Arrived at approx. 5pm to be told that we were too late for bedding for 5th - they only had a limited number of foldaway beds! Offered no alternatives, was quite rude. Not sure what manager expected us to do with 3 children and arriving to stay! Very poor service, would not recommend for people travelling with 5 as you would have no guarantee of receiving a bed :(

This is an older complex but great location right alongside the jetty/coastguard with extra parking usually available for visitors near the boat ramp. There is a private landing out the front which was perfect for fishing & had a shady seated area adjoining it as well as a small sandy beach. Very handy to shops, restaurants, cafes & walking paths, no need to drive anywhere. Rooms were pokey but what you would expect for the price, cleaning could be more thorough as we found what looked to be very old bubble gum under the couch cushion & the bath was scratchy/dirty. Could do with a shower beside the pool, we used the hose instead although may not be meant for that! Stairs were stuffy/smelly & awkward to carry luggage up, no lifts. Pool kept clean & grass well manicured. Overall good value for money.

Room Tip: If you have a lot of luggage stick to the lower floors as the stairs are a killer

We enjoyed our stay at Tripcony Quays, but didn't think it was worth the $300 a night. We have gotten more for our money staying on the Golf coast. The positives were the lovely water front view and the air conditioning.
The negatives were the bathrooms had not been cleaned properly and had a bad odor. The toilet paper had not been replaced so we had to call the managers for some more.
And one of the sofas was falling apart, to the extreme that when you sat on it the vinyl would fall off and stick to you.
Definitely not worth the $300 a night.
