We stayed here for ten nights in mid-late February, while attending World Superbikes.

As always Mark and Janine were perfect hosts. There were ten of us Kiwis staying, though most were there for four nights. Our group has been staying at Arthur Phillip Motor Inn for probably six or seven years now as we attend World Superbikes every year.

My husband and I had a studio unit with a queen and a single bed. The units are clean and tidy, and the beds are very comfortable.

My only criticism is that the wifi is weak at best, and kept cutting out. Janine is looking into how that can be rectified.

We have already made our booking for our group for next year.

How loves a room upgrade?

We do, and that it what we got when we first arrived!

Brownie points straightaway!

The rooms were clean, tidy, had a nice smell and ready for when we arrived.

Staff/Owner were very nice, polite and helpful.

Location is great.

The only downside I would say is that the walls are thin/have no soundproof as we could hear the family in the room next to ours. Luckily it wasn't a honeymooning couple!!!

And personally I found the bed a bit on the hard side. I'm spoiled at home as I have a $7000 bed.

Would we stay again? Yes we would

We stayed here 2 adults & 2 grandkids the room was a family room that was comfortable, the queen bed I found was hard and the pillows were lumpy, otherwise it was very nice. It is located very close to all the shops and restaurants. Very clean and the person who cleaned the room, put the grandkids stuff animals in a self made bed just for them and the grandkids were so excited. It’s these little things that make you come back.

Good location not far from the main restaurant and busy area while being far enough to be quite.
Owners are really kind persons.
Only negative point is the very poor WiFi on our room. You need to ask for a room closed to the reception area.
Having a WiFi signal amplifier would be a great plus and not expensive. Suggest the owner to think about.
Other than that , great stay

Lovely greeting, lovely rooms! We were given a warm welcome which was lovely after a long day. The rooms are spacious, meticulously maintained and the bed is comfortable. Bliss! Our only regret was that we had a very early start the next morning, and didn't have time to enjoy the beautiful location. Would highly recommend!

Room Tip: Contact the owners for a great room rate
