I booked a spa room. There was no spa in the room.
The room was circa 1970 and hadn't been updated since then
Then when I got home and checked my credit card I had been charged more than quoted

My partner and I decided to have a little getaway down in Phillip island and chose to stay here. Good location, good bar facilities and the spa bath was amazing !!

Only downside was that the car park was gravel so had to park out the front to avoid chipping my car. And you could hear everyone from inside your room making it hard to sleep and the walls were like paper!

Staff were good and helped where needed.

A little disappointed on arrival as I had booked the spa bath suite with a view . Got confirmation it was all good and then told at check in that I would be moved to another room because I had one extra person (my 3 yr old that would be sleeping in my bed) nevertheless I took the other room which had a great ocean view. The beds were comfortable. Heating was good. It had all the essentials. The only thing that I was a little shattered about was missing out on the spa bath. Having said that. The bath in our room definitely needs a facelift . My kids didn't even want to bath in it. It just looks rusty and not very inviting at all. Besides that rusty bath. I found everything else in the room to be fine. As there is a pub you do hear the colourful characters after midnight but that's expected on a Friday and sat night. Nothing too rowdy. The staff were friendly and the two nights were pleasant

This hotel whilst clean is quite run down. Breakfast was good. Cereal, Toast, hams, cheeses, fresh juice, tea and coffee. Great location on the beach front but is in need of an upgrade. Bar attached to hotel also really run down and had a rough feel about it. Toilets weren't very clean either.

The staff were good, lights and heating were on for our arrival. Good location although to get a sea view you have to pay extra. Very old Hotel, access outside in the next street, broken concrete paths, very uneven, light missing on the outside, upstairs landing. Room was clean but had no flat surfaces to put anything down on. The tray & jug for making a hot drink was stood on top of fridge, had to unplug a bedside lamp to plug in the jug ! Very noisy on Saturday night, Hotel music and noisy partying neighbors.
