Staff were friendly. Cabin had standard Jayco fittings, clean and bright. Three bedrooms is unusual and perfect for our circumstances. (Aged parent, couple, son)
There was a satisfying view through beach front trees to the sea. The beach was very close and aged parent could manage to walk there. It was very peaceful. The resort had a spa and pool which we also used. Lack of facilities for persons with disabilities (shower, toilet, handrails on stairs - no ramps)

Room Tip: The Jayco two and three bedroom cabins have the best location in the park and also have good cooking facilities.

Totally no WiFi connection although we were told that it’s available in the apartment.
Water pressure in the showers is quite weak, those with long hair will need extra effort.
The place is not worth for the price paid for.
Quiet and easy parking right in front of the room.

Thank you for your feedback and it is a shame you were disappointed with the Wi-Fi. Our system was upgraded last year and is not out dated. We do offer it for free and occasionally there may be an outage. I am not sure if this was the case when you were trying to log on but if were told about it we would have rebooted the system for you and tried to rectify any problems. We have not had problems with our water pressure here before. Glad you found it peaceful here.

Because it’s named Comfort Resort kaloha I assumed it was a resort but it’s definitely a caravan park with some units and isn’t what I would class as a resort.

We decided to stay here and not our 2nd choice the silverwater in San Remo (Groupon offer)as this has an on-site restaurant with good reviews which we thought would be better for us as we have a 1&3 year old.

Our first night the restaurant wasn’t open which meant we had to leave the caravan park and I’m glad we did as everything is a 5 minute walk away. We never ate at the onsite restaurant.

The 2 bed apartment was very tired with dirty marked walls cobwebs and dust on lampshades and skirting boards. The carpet was probably older than me.
The aircon and wifi worked well though.

It’s a shame the ground floor apartments don’t have a garden or patio, if we had the door open our 13m old would just run out in to the road so we needed to keep the door shut and would’ve been nice to sit outside with a drink when the kids were in bed.

The pool looks twice as big in the photos and it’s quite cold even at the end of a hot day, we did give it a try though. The spa is nice but because it’s warm it gets full. There is shade late in the afternoon which is good, great that it’s open til late too.

The playpark is old and small but the jumping pillow was brilliant and under shade.

Staff are really really friendly polite and helpful.

I had to pull out one side table in the bedroom to plug in my charger and the amount of dust down there was really surprising. It mustn’t have been vacuumed in months.

Bedrooms have no shelving or drawer storage just a small dusty cupboard full of blankets and ironing board (no iron) so we stored underwear/ kids clothing in the kitchen drawers as there is no room to keep your case open in either rooms.

The best thing about this place is location. It is very close to the beach, but you need to go through shrubs and bushes to get to it, the beachfront villas don’t get a sea view. The bushes/ shrubs outside our room had cigarette ends in it which wasn’t very nice.

I wouldn’t come again and wouldn’t recommend it, im really finding it hard to see where these 4* 5* reviews are coming from.

Great spot for camping! Lovely site (on the smaller side but has trees which is great). Beach and pool and walk to town. Everything is in walking distance. Pool is lovely and perfect for the super hot weather we had. Perfect!

We spent the long weekend in Jan at Kaloha. The service, location and cleanliness was second to none! We'll be back, we all (2 x families) had such a good, relaxing time-how could we not! Thank you team Kaloha!

Room Tip: We had the house, it accommodated 2 x families (8 people in total) very comfortably.
