We dined on a Monday night without a booking. Not many diners in when we arrived so we had a good choice of seating options. Service was attentive and informed.
For entrée the panko crumbed oysters were a real winner. The air dried wagyu with cheese croquettes, beetroot, caramelised onion was well executed but just needed something to counter the bold flavours.
Mains were ordered without side dishes which was just as well as the main serves were generous. The down side was that the neutral flavours of a side dish would have worked well with the mains.
The braised rabbit with orecchiette, wild mushrooms, parmesan and walnut oil was well cooked and full of flavor.
The lamb rump with tzatziki, pickled cabbage, farro and crispy shallots was ordered medium and was cooked perfectly. The dish was a good mix of flavours and textures.
The wine list offered a good range of varieties and pricing.
