A family dinner here recently was a thing of beauty! What a characterful, atmospheric bar/restaurant. Absolutely beguiling. Well worthy of its reputation. Chowder and Soup were declared excellent, accompanied by delicious brown bread. Battered Cod & chips, Baked Salmon, the Seafood Special, Pan Fried Chili Prawns and Crab Salad were all pronounced delicious. My own quibble; the Seafood Special was poor value. Enough shellfish, but a see-through slice of smoked salmon covering a large portion of the plate. The salad accompanying was slight. A portion of any of the sides would have pushed the price of one plate over the edge. Desserts were also well executed and were decent in size. Good wine selection. Great service, in a very busy restaurant; all staff were really super. The Manager was a very good operator. Looking forward to a return visit.

Family dinner on the 27th Dec. We were offered a table in the main restaurant or a private room in the cottage - we chose the latter and it was lovely. Food as always was amazing. Really fresh fish. And the service was fantastic. I live locally and always bring visitors here. A great taste of County Galway!

This is one of our favourite places when we come over from the UK to visit my parents and lunch today, as always, lived up to expectations.

The vegetable soup was delicious as was the prawns, chorizo and baby new potato salad and as for the smoked salmon and crab salad, delicious and so fresh.

The service as always was attentive, friendly and excellent. Some restaurants in the UK could learn a lot from a visit to Morans. Don’t ever change, you do what you do so well.

Regular visitor to here and it remains one of my favourite restaurants
Dine here often with family and friends and some people say it can be overpriced for small portions, I disagree though, seafood, particularly shellfish is hard work and theirs is second to none!
Crab, prawns, mussels, all delicious, everything fresh and tasty!
My mouth is watering just thinking of the food there!
