Review of Chrysland Hotel
4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 2 Sept 2015
first of all ..we have booked 8 nights in that hotel ..three stars hotel ..one night costs 40 euros without breakfast ( just accomodation ) ... the hotel is made on a large area .. there is a garden next to the swimming pool ... the pool is open from 11:00 till 8:00 pm . the lobby is large containing a small restaurant with about ten tables .. the reception area is large .. it is two floors about 20 rooms all.. the hotel is about 1 km from nissi beach but to go to the other beaches you need a taxi or bus , but we like to walk.. i was given a refrigerator an air-conditioner for free as a gift for our anniversary , but i think you have to pay 5 euros each night for each item which would be too much and making the night reaches 50 euro without breakfast.
2- the room design is very good, large comfortable bed, clean and nice toilet with panio ..
3- they donot have many electric blugs to recharge your mobile or laptop... i had to charge my moble and camera in the toilet blug ( the only one found in the room )
4- the balcony is small somewhat and the door closes after you .. we got trapped there till someone open our room and then opened the balcony to get us out.
5- the hotel is very clean
6- price is suitable, most guests are arabs and from east europe like romania and ukrania , some russians . but no english or german guest , i think those prefer more large and expensive 5 stars hotels,
finally the hosts are very kind and helpful , specially Mr.Lokkas who works the night shift ... very kind man about 60 years old, he can speak english more fluent than the other and likes to tell stories,, i learned alot from him about cyprus and the history of that country which might make me visit the same hotel again just to meet him
also mrs Anita pavolo ... she is always smiling and very helpful....

in overall view , it is a suitable hotel if you need cheap price with comfortable conditions and med-way between the town , restaurants , clubs and the fantastic nissi beach

thank you

The room is as simple as it gets; all you need in Loud Ayia Napa.
A clean air-conditioned place to sleep with a nice toilet and kitchenette. A spacious balcony to relax and get some fresh air.
The staff was very friendly and the facilities were great for the price charged. The pool was clean and cool, you could also sit outside with the friendly bar tender Alex who was of great help at all times.

Room tip: The apartments next across the lobby do not have wifi, choose a room above the lobby.

The staff was the friendly one I've ever seen, the women of the morning was cut always smiling, and Lukas (night) is very knowledgeable and has lots of experience in life. They told me that there is an express transportation from the hotel to Larnaca airport that costs only 12€ (Taxi cost 50€) and booked it for me. The hotel is 15 min walk from Nissi beach and situated in a quiet area. It is far from downtown, but buses numbers 101 and 102 go to the Ayia Napa center (1,5€). The hotel opens 24 hours, so you can return any time at night. The good thing is that the fridge and air conditioner are free (not like other hotels).

Chrysland hotel has welcomed us (me and my parents) always with so personal, warm and nice open heart atmosphere..every time staying like at home, really...
It's so sweet to stay there...surrounding is so quite and relaxing, hotel is small and personalized...pool area with bunches of grapes make it even more beautiful...
Good location - main street with shops and restaurants, bars and beach is around 10 minutes walking distance...breakfast is nice and stay is valuable in money..
Can suggest to choose this hotel for a nice and relaxed stay with touch of kindness and friendliness from all the hotel personal and especially from owner...greetings from Riga! :)

I'm rating this hotel as excellent partly due to the fact that its really good value for money. We paid €28 per night, room only. Aircon (€5 pd) & breakfast (€6 pd) were extra, but we knew that before we booked. Still, that works out at just €39 per night which I consider to be a great deal!

It is not possible to eat dinner here, but I believe that snacks are available during the day by the pool.

This hotel is located in a very quiet area, but just 7 minutes' walk from Nissi Avenue with its shops, restaurants and bars - an additional 3 minutes will get you onto the beach! I would imagine its been here for longer than most of the other hotels. It has a certain charm which is lacking in the more modern local establishments.

The pool is reasonably-sized (I estimate about 15M x 8M x 2M deep) with plenty of sun loungers available. There is a bar area with piped music. Drinks prices are reasonable - the family own Cyprus' only micro-brewery and we ensured we tried their beer which was excellent.

We only stayed four nights as the hotel was closing for the season, so it was not full. However, this suited us fine as we had the complete pool area to ourselves most of the time - a real bonus!

The staff and owner were very friendly. Anita is a credit to the establishment. We had a very enjoyable stay and would certainly return for a peaceful break.

Really loved the receptionist Lady. She proposed some good ideas, where to go, where to eat etc. The main reason you should go there that you can get to Nissi(most beautiful beach of Cyprus) in ~10-12 mins. For this price it is unbeatable. There are good restaurants in a few mins of walk. You should choose this hotel if you want to stay all day on the beach and use the hotel only in the night. Because we are like that, it was a bargain for us. Ohh, and order air conditioning, the 40C is not for humans.
The nature is so close so you might experience some unwanted friends in your room. We saw one cockroach and one lizard. Otherwise, the room is clean.
