Casa Maria was on our "to do list", and did not disappoint. We had spent the morning strolling on the out skirts of Ronda and arrived at the restaurant at around midday. There was only one staff member there that was happy to explain the concept and price, advised us that they weren't ready yet and to return in about half an hour. We had generous vegetable based starters, followed by an enormous piece of grilled fish, tender sirloin steak and potatoes and to finish was a berry cheesecake (ricotta based) light, fresh and not too sweet. Service was friendly and helpful, and the wine very nice. Casa Maria is not cheap but it is very good value. Our only complaint (if you could call it that) was that the portions were very big.
