Beautiful hotel. Spotlessly clean, great view from the pool/terrace, luxuriant, well - equipped room with large private garden, relaxed, and with exceptionally helpful staff. Thank you for a great stay.

We had stayed at Hotel La Fuentes De La Higuera a few years ago when visiting the Andalusian White Hill Towns and loved it. When we decided to revisit the area we didn't even consider another place to stay and are glad that we didn't. We had stayed in a suite last time with wonderful views from 2 sides and which opened to a private garden patio. We has hoped to get the same room but the suite that we were shown was nothing like the previous room. Anna, who was at reception that day, saw dispointment and at dinner that night told us that she had been able to get us a better room. The new suite was unbelievable with incredible views of the countryside, Ronda, the pool and gardens. It had a huge bedroom and stunning living room. The bathroom was also fantastic. We again had a huge terrace with great views. Based on our previous stay and the lack of good restaurants in Ronda, we ate at the hotel restaurant each night and had an outstanding 3 course dinner. The gardens are very attractive and the pool was more than welcoming in the 110 degree temperatures. The hotel is about a 5-10 minute drive from the town within excellent reach of the other towns. Highly recommended and a special thanks to Anna who was always helpful and whose efforts to get us a suite that we expected made this an incredible stay!

Room Tip: A suite with countryside views and a large terrace make this a special place!

Oh hello you lovely two....
Ana sends her greetings and thanks for your mentioning her name and kindness...
And I like to thank you for sharing your thoughts about us with the world and am so happy that you loved your stay again.

I agree with you: once you have stayed in deluxe Suite no. 2 it is the one you like to return to. Please allow me to say- in case someone else reads this-
All art in our hotel is original, but with the 19th century original artwork I would like to mention that we do not allow children in this suite.
I look forward to seeing you again when you come this long way again.

With kind regards
Christina

This hotel has everything needed to enjoy a quite and relaxing get-away.
It was everything we expected and more, and the staff was extremely helpfull and attentive. Stayed for a week, which seemed a bit longet than most others, but we enjoyed every minute of it!

Dear Ebj,

Thank you very much for your great review. It is so nice that you stayed for a week as we also enjoy much learning to know our guests a little better. And if we hear that the week has been too short, my heart makes a little jump as this is exactly what makes it tick!

Basically I am beeing very selfish only: it is me - and all of us- being really happy once we have helped you to have the time of your life.

We look forward to welcoming you again- and do not forget to mention you have been, we do have a little surprise for our guests who have become part of the family.....

Warm regards,

Christina

A Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. Our suite was perfect, with private terrace, spectacular views and an incredible cooper bath tub The Staff are a credit to the hotel and go out of their way to look after you . The food is consistently excellent. We can't wait to return!

Oooh. What a pitty I cannot figure out who you are from the name ...I am sure we have been talking to each other.
Thank you very very much for your five stars, which will hopefully help many more guests to decide to come in the wintermonths to savour the food and feel cuddled by kindness....
With warm regards from sunny Ronda,
Christina

This hard to find small boutique hotel in the olive groves outside Ronda is well worth the extra sat navigation savvy necessary to find it. The staff couldn't be nicer and more helpful and were quite adept in English. I felt most of the guests were there for R&R, which makes sense as the location is lovely and you can while away the day in the poolside garden with a good book and look forward to the excellent 3 course dinners prepared by the chef. Thus, most guests were on the full or half board plan (a terrific value). Having never been to the area, however, we used the hotel as a springboard to explore the town of Ronda and the surrounding hill towns. After several hot days of exploring medieval villages and fortresses, it was such a treat to come 'home' to our hotel and our beautifully furnished room and terrace for a swim, a rest, and an interesting candlelight dinner overlooking the countryside.

Thank you so much for taking your time for such a lovely review and the 5 stars.
I am grateful you mention the terrific value for our three-course-dinner as with 46 euros per person, it is not a cheap-eat. It does show however, that you know about the price of good produce and the time put into the elaboration of excellent dining.

Be happy and healthy!

With warm regards from Ronda,
Christina
