We decided to head out into the north downs to enjoy the bank holiday heatwave with some top down motoring.
We came across this little gem of a pub and decided to have a refreshing drink and
Having checked out the menu a spot of lunch.
We ordered the tapas ( recommended) and the nachos, the food was delicious the staff were welcoming and friendly the setting was idyllic if your in the area we recommend you give this proper pub a try, we’ll be back !!!

We Booked a couple of nights at the Bowl inn. From the moment we booked in, the staff were so friendly and helpful they couldn’t do enough for us even making a big fuss over Bill and Ted our dogs. Breakfast was really nice with a good choice of things to have, my full English was lovely with great sausages. The next day we decided to have our evening meal there, we decided on the burgers with cheese and bacon very nice. We both said that when we go to Kent again we will definitely book the Bowl inn well recommend.

have eaten here a few times.
Food is fresh and good sized portions.
Burgers are good. The daily specials were fish or a steak pie. Both really excellent.
Good beers on tap. Good beer garden. Great county pub and restaurant!

My friend and I stayed in the rooms above the pub on a walking holiday. Food was hearty, generous and tasty. Clean plates between us, washed down with Kentish ale (the food, not the plates).

Really lovely pub, very friendly staff, good food and very welcoming for dogs, even inside. Very big beer garden, which is sheltered, and slightly off the main road so nice and peaceful.

We found it by accident because we were looking for a dog-friendly place to meet up with friends, but we are already planning our next visit!

We all really enjoyed it and had a fantastic evening, thanks to the great atmosphere and tasty food - and some of the nicest bar/waiting staff I’ve encountered in a long time: highly recommended.

Thank TJ B
