We are a family of 5 and throughly enjoyed our time in Prague. Prague is very charming and it captured all of our hearts.
Castle Residence was perfect for us.
We were greeted with a smile and warm welcome. The residence itself is quirky but good.
It's situated in a quiet residential area.

Our family room was spacious and clean.
Breakfast each morning was good.
We used the indoor pool at the end of each day. There is a small bowling alley within which we also played at night.
Outside is a little park where the kids can play and run around. An outdoor seating area also where you can have a bit to eat or a drink whilst watching the kids play.

Every morning the owners shuttled us for free to the underground station. We were also picked up on return. This was so helpful and convenient for all of us.

The tube ride into the centre of Prague was not that long. Maybe 10/15 mins ?
We spent most days in the city exploring and enjoying the beauty.
We highly recommend the Segway tours. A great fun way to see the city and hear about the history.

No complaints. Really enjoyed our stay here.

We have chosen this hotel because of two reasons. First it has air conditioned rooms (it was very hot in beginning of September) and second we had a car and we were looking for a place away from city center but at a reasonable distance from the airport.
If you drive you better have a GPS. If you do not have a car the hotel staff will give you a ride to the nearest tram station and pick you up from the same location once you call them. By car it is a 15 minute ride from city center.
The room was spacious and clean even though not luxurious. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was served in the restaurant and was good.
The staff was very friendly and cooperative, they would do the utmost to help you/

We stayed in this hotel for four nights. It is off the center in the middle of a neighborhood. It is convenient for families which come by car - there is on-site parking, and the hotel provides a ride to the nearest tram station. Nice facilities.

Very difficult to find-in the middle of a mixture of high rise apartments, commercial buildings and private homes. Not an easy review to write so I will set it out as follows.

1) First room we were allocated was dark and dingy- lots of wood felt like a coffin with a large a/c unit hanging from the ceiling. Meant to be a double room but, was 2 single beds side by side with a large gap down the centre.
2) 2nd room was nice, quite large with balcony and terrace which was very acceptable. Still 2 beds side by side apparently Hotel has only 1 room with a double bed so web site is confusing. Hotel in general appeared to be run by Gentlemen and so it lacked a "womans" finesse eg no room or shelf for toiletries in the bathroom. Very useful that it had a mini fridge and kettle for tea making although it had no English breakfast tea -just green or earl grey. Room had 1 bottle of water which I would expect in a single room so for a double 2 bottles of water expected.
3) We arrive down for breakfast 10 mins before the cut off time. It was very dis jointed had to ask for cups/ glasses/ cutlery etc. Very limited on what was on offer but, perhaps that how it is in general in Prague.
4) The leisure area is very basic and un -inviting in its décor and ambiance. It appears to be totally geared up for kids as every morning when one would normally like to swim it was full of parents and kids!!!! No where on the web site did I see that children appeared to have priority on the use of the pool with swimming lessons taking place!!!
5) As mentioned earlier the Owner and most of the staff are very friendly and could not do enough to help. The restaurant staff not so good and could do with guest relation training. The shuttle bus is a fantastic service to offer and I think without it guests would find the Hotel far too difficult and out of the way for sight-seeing and visiting the centre of Prague.
6) Very disappointed on our return from sight seeing that we could not get a nightcap as a resident the bar closed at 11 pm. To me this is always a perfect end to a days sightseeing and enjoyment. Never ever stayed in a hotel which did not offer a bar service to residents and certainly not what I would have expected to find in Prague generally, as drinking seems to be encouraged and in some establishments it was cheaper than having a soft drink.

Room Tip: request one with balcony and terrace

Somewhat difficult to review. Most if not all amenities of a four star hotel are present, yet the ambiance misses the luxury feel. The decor is more like austere than sumptuous. Having said that, there is a good, functional indoor pool and sauna, the rooms are comfortable and large, the setting is lovely and the premises, being a small nineteenth century palace aka former winery, are quite atmospheric.
It is well situated, somewhat outside the touristy area of the town, but hotel shuttle and metro (tickets at the reception) will take you into the very centre within 15 minutes.
Despite being in town, which obviously makes traffic noise a bit of an issue, the hotel has thick walls and good isolation so there is virtually no sound inside.
The restaurant is affordable and serves good quality food. Once again, nothing super-culinary, but nice enough. Very good beer and quite acceptable (Czech) wines.

The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful.
Price/quality ratio is more than excellent.
If you are looking for a peaceful, comfortable and affordable stay in Prague, look no further.

Room Tip: The two rooms at the back of the garden are the most quiet, the family apartments very large.
