My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Adria, Prague for one week in September.
As noted by other reviewers the location is close to the old town and walking distance to many sights. It is a reasonable walk from the train station but we got bad directions on the way to the hotel – from other hotels. Not sure what that was about.
Many thanks to Simona and others at the front desk for many helpful tips and directions that made our vacation more enjoyable.
Our room was fine, quiet (rear facing) and clean, but the bathroom was very small and lacked sufficient room to place two bath kits which was awkward. I really hate European hotel showers. Why are they so damn small! I need to turn around.
The hotel does not provide toiletries like shampoo and conditioner, only liquid soap. Wasn’t expecting that. There was only one luggage rack, not two. Could use a few more English language stations. Lots of stations but the only English language ones were BBC and they kept repeating the same old stories.
Wifi was good. Breakfast was good (I disagree with many of the reviews), but I agree the coffee was quite bad. I believe it is chicory coffee. Maybe that’s a Prague thing.
I would recommend the hotel for its location and pleasant staff.More
