We wanted to buy gelati from the stand and asked the staff member for two flavours, lemon and mango in a cup. He turned to me and said he doesn't sell mango and pointed us to the stand beside him. We moved to the other stand which was just a foot away. We then noticed both men had the hotel's uniform on. We waited and waited to be served by the other man who was putting cones in a container. He knew we were waiting but kept on moving backwards and forwards. He served us and made out he had just seen us. I asked him for the two flavours and was about to ask him for a cup when he picked up a cone. I asked him In a very polite manner I wanted a cup instead of a cone. He looked at me and berated me telling me off and that I should say a cup first! I was shocked the way he spoke to us. Both men we're rude. They are supposed to be the face of your company. These staff members seem to have a problem with giving good customer service. Avoid, avoid, acoid!!

Servers are rude, food is below mediocre & high prices, cocktails served without alcohol, they charge double taxes and charged for salt, pepper, ketchup and everything possible. There are plenty good restaurants around. Do not fall in the trap like is

This was extremely disappointing. BEWARE anything that U Prince lists under its accommodation choices as an apartment. These are in a building next door to the main hotel accessed through dark dingy halls up endless stone steps. As an air BnB rental it would be fine but since it is being sold as 5 star hotel accommodation it is sorely lacking. 60 stairs up to the room no elevator, no ac and it wasn't that clean either. The location is terrific right in Old Town Square. That is the only thing about it that was good.

The location of this restaurant is the selling point. Otherwise give it a miss.
We were on our last day in Prague, vert tired, and wanting to try to get a good Weiner snitzel .
When it came it looked very over cooked. Having had experience with Prague waiting staff we decided to soldier on. When the waitress came however we mentioned the meat was very tough. We had left about half of it. She said yes, it was veal. We said should veal be tough? Yes, it's veal. Well that didn't work so when the head waiter came along with our bill we once again said the meat was very tough. He said yes, it's pork.
We said we were told it was veal. No I head waiter it's pork.
Well, it's very tough. No it isn't he said. We paid the bill and left.
First time visitors to Prague be prepared. This town is full of tourists and the waiting staff have little tolerance for any of us. Just saying.............

Room Tip: Reviewing the restaurant not the hotel. Stay away.

The location is very good as it just in the center of the town. The food quality is okay but it is over priced. the service is also good. The pastas are a must try. The view is spectacular especially during the evenings.
