The location of the hotel is excellent in a quiet part of the town away from the tourist areas. It is perfect for visiting the old town and across the river to the castle.
Our room was on the top floor and was an attic room which we loved. It was quiet and we could sleep with the window open with no noise to disturb us. The only thing I would warn visitors about this attic room is that the room is on two levels and therefore had a couple of steps in the room up to our door and to our bathroom, so if you have difficulties in using stairs or use a wheelchair this room would not be suitable for you.
The bathroom was lovely and clean with plenty towels and toiletries supplied by the hotel. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom which is situated perfectly beside the mirror. The only downside to the room was that there wasn't any coffee making facilities. However, there is a fridge so we bought fresh orange from the shop on the corner to have first thing in the morning before we headed out for breakfast. We didn't take the breakfast option because there are so many cafe's and restaurants nearby.
We would definitely stay again!More
