There are few interesting shops inside the golden Lane, the Beer Shampoo and soup are 100% natural and worth to try out the tester and look at other products.

We went at 9 am and had the whole place to ourselves! It was pretty awesome. The tower where they held people was crazy to see. Very interesting glimpse into the way certain people lives.

Golden Lane is in the Prague Castle grounds. We went late afternoon & didn’t have to pay to go down there.
Most of the houses are souvenir shops. You can imagine how it was, a working community within the castle grounds.

Golden Lane is part of the Prague Castle complex. It requires a ticket. It is a series of former homes that were built under the aches of the ramparts. Some of the houses are exhibits of shops at various points in Czech history (herbalist, seamstress, etc), while others are retail shops. One of the dwellings was once the home of Franz Kafka. There is an exhibit of medieval armour and arms on the second level, which is accessed by narrow, winding stairs.

A lane of colourful small houses on the castle grounds. While nice to look at, it feels very "disneylandish" with lots of tourists squeezing through the small street.

After 5pm to 10pm the entrance is free, and most tourists are gone.
