Mixed feelings. It's great they have English speaking friendly and helpful staff. Not very clean (dust). Perfect location in the old town, artistic interiors with replicas of great painters and a balcony with a great view over the river. Lovely terrace for breakfast! Unfortunately, there is no lift. It can be difficult to use the stairs with kids and many bags. No access for the disabled! Best recommended as a fine restaurant. It feels that the apartments are a bit neglected by the owner. Don't try to order a meal to your room dyring busy restaurant hours.

Room Tip: Perfect location but no access to disabled people, no lift, narrow stairs to the apartments.

Hotel has beautiful website, great photos. But reality is different. We were offered the attic rooms, even if others were free. Attic located at fourth level with no elevator. Stairs to heaven? No. Small, stuffy air room. After complaining we were offered other room on lower level. Getting on consideration price of stay - this was rather poor experience. One thing was ok - Breakfast.

This very charming Inn is just above the famous Gold Wasser restuarnt locatedin teh water front in the magical old town of Gdansk. It is just abovethe restaurant and has 7 smnall lovely apartments. The best is to have the fantastuic dinner and drink the world famous Gold wasser liquer with its 24 karat gold . and some excellent wines from the resturants Seller, and then go up to sleep in one of the suites.
The breakfast was charming as well on the hotel terrase over looking the crowds of tourists passing by.
nextr day we jsut went outside after breakfast into th egheart of th eold town with its special shops and eateries, and enjoyed a wonderful weekend in this hiostoric city.

Room Tip: only 7 suites so anyone is fine.

Loved the friendly staff, who knew English. The food was fabulous, fresh with beautiful presentation. The waitress was smart, friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was cozy and full of interesting antiques.

I spent a wonderful four days in the "Goldwasser" and can recommend it very highly. The rooms are full of character and with beautiful views front and back, the staff are very friendly and helpful in every way, and the attached restaurant serves some of the best meals in Gdansk. And (contrary to other reviews I have seen) the apartments do have very hot water all the time! I travel a lot so I have much to compare with the Goldwasser, but couldn't have been happier.

Room Tip: I didn't see the other rooms but it looks like they all have windows onto the river on one side and garden the other - both lovely views.
