Benefits:
* One block away from the old towm plaza
* Nice large and cool rooms (AC)
* Quiet - thick walls and good windows so the small traffic outside isn't disturbing

Very high standard breakfast and meals (delicious home made sorbet) - and thus costly too.

The very friendly service staff booked Auschwitz & Birkenau, Salt Mine trips and more for us.

We bought just the hotel room and found ourselves most often slanter over to the Coffee shop accross the streets or buy typical polish breakfast in the many restaurants who served it for much less. Then we could also enjoy city life and the weather.

The minus was that sometimes during days people taking showers (according to the staff) could end up with the cold water pipes creating a humming sound, which was suprising. But it never occured during nights. Proably the AC wasn't adoptable to lower temperatures, but kept the room around 20 C anyhow, so not so much to complain about.

This is the oldest hotel in Kraków and located very close to the square and although it looks very plush the seats in the room were not very comfortable The bed however was large and comfortable and the bathroom very spacious and well equipped. We had room 103 which had a bedroom with separate sitting room but it was not possible to sit comfortably to watch TV or just relax. In the room was an nespresso machine with pods to make coffee but no milk(even though there was a fridge) and no way to make tea. The breakfast had a reasonable selection with eggs cooked to order but the worst thing was trying to get coffee out of the machine. It wasn't just us nearly everyone had to be helped by a waitress. It would make more sense to have it made by the kitchen staff and would also save on wasting the pods used. To make tea there is a flask of hot water (which was only warm). Sorry but won't be back.

Room Tip: Rooms on front get a lot of street noise at night

The Pod Roza hotel is located in the main street of the old town, 100 meters from the main square!! Really amazing hotel. We stayed at room 315 which a view to the backyard, but it did not bother us at all, on a contrary! It was very quiet at night, room is big and amnesties are perfect. I can recommend just to add an armchair to the room. Breakfast is really great with lots of varieties. The restaurant itself is really beautiful with glass roof above you. Stuff very helpful. There is a small gym at floor #4 but we did not have time to visit. Overall: highly recommended!!

Room Tip: ANY room is fine at this hotel...

Very nice (and very expensive ... at least compared to other similar solutions) hotel.
It is located in the perfect spot.
Into the centre of the old town, just 200 meters far from the Rynek and close to all the most nice and popular spots you can find in Kracov.
if you made your mind up to lodging in this hotel you don't need to take taxi or tram at all to enjoy Krakow...simple walking.
I've been given to a nice room, very clean and tidy. With luxurious fornitures and also a wonderful spa hydromassage pool into the bathroom that I sadly found it broken.
There's a bigger spa into the hotel, but I was travelling for business and I didn't find time.
I experienced the fitness room (with also a Sauna). It's small, but there are all basic machines you need and it's complimentary.
This accomodations may be costs a bit more, but it worth

This hotel is optimally placed in the old town. The rooms are individual and the furniture lovely old style. We had a charming room with bathtub. The service was really good. It is a bit pricey for Kraków but that helps to avoid the hoards of drunk Englishmen out for a party. I would stay here again.
