I love this place. Most of fantastic characters and excellent kitchen. Very good classical dish like schabowy (shnitzell), mielony (cutlet) and pierogi (dumplings).

Wow. What a spot. So so SO cheap and really nice food. It's located very handily to the Main Market Square and just on a side street on Florianska Street.

It's small interior makes for a cosy experience and if you're able too, sit beside the window meaning you can steal wifi from the bakery across the road!

I got the fried dumpling with meat and they were lovely.

My ONE complaint is the glasses actually appear quite dirty and it's not exactly obvious to a first time go-er how it all works. You go in, get your own table and go up and order, as opposed to having someone take your order at the table.

4/5 *

Very tasty home cooked food for a couple of coins. Meal was tasty and portion was ok for lunch. The service is very good, although the servants didn't speak so good English, but you'll do ok with them. If you haven't eaten in a milkbar I strongly recommend this experience for you.

To get a felling of how it might have been during communism you should visit a Milk Bar in Wroclaw. A complete meal will cost you somewhere from 5 to 15 PLN. Therefore you got some good quality food, not like in a restaurant, but more like a cafeteria.

You will see all kinds of people there, from bums to college student to businessmen, all eating in the same place.

Used toi go there during college. Might be worth checking out as it's a real relic of communist times (not like one of those quick shot bars that are so popular nowadays in Poland). Very cheap food and quite good, old time home-like food. But the company you get is sometimes... odd. And the food, as cheap as it is, also tastes that way.
