Absolutely good choice for reasonable price. The next door restaurant is run by one star Michelin chef and you have alternatives at few steps within that ancien casern today in renovated with much much taste.
To be a little disturbing, I stongly advise to improve the room service, not the menu but the service which is far below what a 5 stars pretends to offer.
I'm almost always traveling alone, and prefers to have dinner in my room chatting to my wife... That is not dispensing service to be impeccable.

Upgraded to the biggest room available the night we spent there was magnificent. Don't dare to skip the spa and Balinese massage it the amazing sushi restaurant Kyokai which received it's own great review.
Spa maintenance a bit lacking though.

This five star hotel lived up to expectations. Comfortable, large room, great breakfast and friendly staff.
In addition there is free use of the roof top swimming pool, saunas etc. The hotel is part of a large complex that used to be a Prussian cavalry barracks so there is plenty of history. However everything is now sparkling clean and refurbished. There si even a small brewery on site with a variety of beers.

Good:
*Interesting building and good range of cafes and bars on site
*Very pleasant and helpful staff
*Cleaners did a good job every day

Neutral:
*Location - if you want to be right in the old city centre this isn't it, but you get more space and there are some interesting restaurants off the tourist trail nearby

Bad:
*Some fittings and fixtures in room/bathroom in need of some maintenance/replacement
*Very uncomfortable pillows
*Could be a bit noisy

Note: I think the spa on site is managed separately from the hotel, but we had an annoying experience with them messing up our booking for massages meaning we couldn't fit this into our trip.

We stayed in the hotel for two nights. Rooms are big and nice, there is a sleeping area and a living area with a nice comfy couch, additionally the room has a small kitchen where you can cook something or reheat your food using the microwave. Bathroom was clean and was fully equipped. SPA area was also nice. Staff of the hotel is very friendly and helpful. What we really liked was that in the same building as the hotel there were different restaurants and cafes (most super pricy tho). Two disadvantages of this place are: 1. Hotel guests have to pay for the parking 40PLN for a day!(that’s a lot – parking should be free for the hotel guests or way cheaper) 2. Hotel’s breakfast for one person was 69 PLN, just as a comparison we paid 65 PLN for 2 for a breakfast in Bagels & Friends Café( that’s in the same building as hotel). Hotel is not centrally located (it was not an issue for us) it took us 40 min walking to get to the old town.

Dear Kasia,

Thank You for choosing City Park Hotel for you stay in Poznań. We are glad that you have appreciated many advantages of our City within City. We hope to host You as frequently as possible. In terms of prices - only few five-star hotels offer parking for less than 40 PLN, breakfasts are also one of the cheaper on the Polish market - a nod to our Guests. The price level compared to hotels of a similar standard in Western Europe is only a fraction of the amount, so we're definitely not an expensive five-star hotel :)
We encourage You to visit us soon, we promise to take care of You at the highest level.

Best Regards,
Matt Wasilewski,
Front Office Manager
