Don't even doubt, go. Surprisingly great experience on the main market square. Normally you would expect to have a moderate food experience in favour of the (very nice) environment, but this was a real surprise. The food was excellent. Both the bread soup, dumplings but I'd recommend the Duck at any time. Waiter was friendly and funny. We had a very nice evening, and would surely return! Thanks a lot!

We hadn’t reserved a table and when we arrived the restaurant was very busy, however we were told there were more tables but they were downstairs.

Downstairs turned out to be a large vaulted cellar, it was lovely. A large table of diners with about another six or so tables all set up. There were other tables in little arch ways.

Our table however was not lovely, we were seated inside an arch but it was so small it did not allow us to sit facing each other, or even out towards other diners. Both of us were directly facing a brick wall.

Even if I had been dining on my own I would not have accepted this table, never mind a nice romantic meals at what is one of the most expensive restaurants in the main square.

I asked to be moved and even though there were plenty of tables free we were led into another room. We refused a table there as there was no one else there.

The waiter seemed flustered when we asked for one of the tables in the room with the pokey table in the arch - but did agree we could sit at one of the other tables.

I’m at a loss as to know what that was all about....

The meal was lovely but the experience was tainted by the table fiasco

Spent a few days on a family/business break in poznan and visited this restaurant twice for lunch. We received the best possible service, and were made to feel so welcome with out 1yr old daughter. It was so refreshing to be able to have a fine dining meal and not feel out of place with a toddler! And the price was absolutely unbelievable for the food we ate. Thank you again, you really made our little break so much more enjoyable!
Highly recommend and we will be back again if we have the chance.

Top quality local cuisine in a nice, historic setting. Stylish and very tasty stuff. The portions are generously sized so beware not to order more than you can eat!
