Description: Cuisine in Delicja is a combination of traditional Polish taste with Mediterranean cuisine accents. Fresh ingredients are selected with great care in order to ensure composition harmony. A large choice of wine and their proper selection will allow you to enjoy the taste of meals like nowhere else. Our professional service and subtle background music will emphasize uniqueness of your meal. Despite placed in the very centre, we can guarantee peace from hustle and bustle of the city. Our "Patio Pod Platanem" whose name was taken from one of the oldest trees in the area of Wielkopolska is an exceptional enrichment. This and also other stories connected with a nearby Plac Wolności [Freedom Square] add unusual charm to our place.

This was a superb and highly special dinner and the service and quality of food was outstanding in every way. We had the 6 course taster menu which was a real treat. The recommended wine was perfect for the food. A highlight to our stay in Poznan

Me and my family have been to a lot of cities around the world, yet this establishment was amongst the best we've tried, their interior is beautiful and well maintained, the service was professional and warm, we ate a four-course meal that taste heavenly good and presented wonderfully. We can feel that every ingredient that they use are fresh, and cooked to perfection. The price is reasonable, and we do wish to comeback again to Poznan just so we can stop by at Delicja. You guys should definitely try it!

As a new part-time resident in the city, I have been trying out some of the restaurants where the quality and presentation of food is promoted as excellent. This establishment was amongst the best I've found. Set Behring a peaceful courtyard just beyond the Old a Town it had the essence of being a peaceful haven from that start. A very beautiful and well maintained interior exuded class as did the linen and tableware. The service was professional and not intrusive - but it was clear that 'waiter friendliness' was there if that was what you wanted. We ate in the 'asparagus season'. The chef did full justice to this vegetable combining my starter with wonderfully tasty strawberries and with two varieties accompanying a well presented and really fresh trout fillet. A good selection of wine too. And all at a very reasonable price. We were unhurried and felt as if we could have stayed as long as we wished - although it might just have been because it was a Monday evening. The food preparation and presentation is not full of intriguing gimmicks - rather faultless in its classical approach.

Absolutely delightful with the traditional dishes very good. We were there on a Saturday for lunch and were the only diners, where is everyone have they not heard how good this is. Traditional classic dining in beautiful surroundings, the building dates back to 1850 and is beautifully kept, silver service, great food and nice wine. For three courses with drinks and service expect to pay circa £50 per head, worth every penny. We will be back

For us “Delicja” was an unexpected discovery. We decided to give it a try as part of the Fine Dining Week when guests can pick one of two menu degustation. The entire meal turned out to be a revelation – an impeccable combination of traditional ingredients and Polish cuisine with a novel approach. The chef is equally expert in using more modern and long forgotten ingredients. The service was discreet and efficient. Both the waiter who served us and the owner who came to check whether we were happy proved to be knowledgeable about their wines. All that in a beautiful interior served with food served on elegant china with fine cutlery. Full marks also for being classy without being pretentious - a rare quality in such establishments. Every single dish we had could easily be served in a Michelin star restaurant. If you are looking for a gourmet experience with a difference, this is it.
