The interior of the hotel is extremely dated, and could do with a serious refurbishment. This does not mean it was dirty however, and the rooms and breakfast area were very clean.
We luckily had a lake view room (see picture), but heard other guests moaning about the view of the bins. We got lucky on that one, and maybe if we looked at the bins it would have taken off the edge of the hotel. Rooms were clean, but the decor of a time long ago. Similarly, the bathrooms could do with an update, as could the mattresses.
Breakfast was simple, and not much to shout about. A little bit of egg and overcooked sausage was on offer, as well as the more common continental breakfast elements.
Location is great - you can see and access the lake very easily. You are also only a stones throw away from Straza Bled and the other beach areas.
Generally a nice hotel that with a few updates could really be a main challenger.
PS. Would definitely recommend a trip to nearby Lake BohinjMore
