When you open yourself up for public reviews, you will get everything. Then you get the truth, don't let anything bad to be said about the Budapest Hilton. Best location, no comparison, period. True Hungarian Hospitality, price can't be beat for your services. With real property folks, it's all about location. Been there multiple times, would not even consider something different, when you find the best, no need to look any further. Thank you, will be back and will recommend.

The Budapest Hilton provided one of the most beautiful views of Budapest....especially at night as the historic city was lit for Christmas. It was mere steps from St. Matthias Cathedral, a short walk to the funicular, which leaves you at the foot of the beautiful Chain Bridge and an easy walk into Pest and St. Stephens Basilica. The rooms were roomy, even by European standards, with a luxurious bathroom that would rival any I've had in a hotel stateside. The staff were hospitable, courteous, and attentive. The breakfast buffet was extensive with impressive views of St. Matthias as an additional perk.

Room tip: Higher rooms on the side facing the Danube have the best views and are quieter than thos on the street side.

We enjoyed a lot this excellent member of the Hilton chain.
The staff was very helpful and friendly and helped with all our requests
for bus tickets, excursions and mailing..
I took advantage of the special services of the executive suite, including
quite a few glasses of the Tokayi wine they provide.
The check in and out processes were so easy..

Room tip: If you can afford, get one with a view to the Danube; it's gorgeous

We stayed at the Hilton Budapest Castle District in November for 4 nights. There are two Hilton properties in Budapest, Castle Hill and West End. We love the Castle Hill property. It is an older and small hotel, located in the heart of the old town, on the Buda side. The whole Castle Hill area is a wonderful old area; you can easily spend a day here to explore. There are numerous cafe/restaurants, museums, shops and markets in the district.

The Hilton hotel is located right next to the Fishman Bastion. The hotel as two wings, which are linked by an historic church ruin. The whole complex is beautifully designed and the ruin section is blended in perfectly, providing an interesting aspect.

We stayed at the executive floor with parliament house view. It is worth for the upgrade. Breakfast and evening drinks/canapés are included. The hotel has a small but well equipped gym. We caught the local bus to Pest side, it only took approximate 10 minutes. So the local of the hotel is excellent.

We would like to thank Ms Agnes, the guest relations manager and her team for the exceptional high standard services provided to guests. We like the hotel and would recommend to our friends.

We so enjoyed this beautiful hotel. The spectacular view of the Parliment building, the Chain Bridge lions across the Danube and the quick walk to the castle district made it a perfect location to see this historical city. The front desk staff was especially helpful and although the rooms were not extremly elegant, they were certainly clean and comfortable. Their dining room evening menu of tapas was really neat. I'd also recommend you explore some of the restuarants on the side streets near the hotel. If ever in Budapest, this is the place I would stay again.

Room tip: Ask for a view of the Parliment Building
