Great location walking distance from Buddha castle, the hotel is nice and clean. We had a Danube view room which had magnificent view over the chain bridge and the Parliament bldg. Hotel staff are nice and friendly, they even checked us in at 11AM! Highly recommended for your stay in Budapest!

I booked a British Airways holiday recently and decided to stay at the art'otel in Budapest for three nights. A short break before Christmas in such a beautiful hotel did not disappoint. I upgraded for a very reasonable price to the Danube river facing room and it was worth every single penny. The views from my bedroom were absolutely amazing taking in the beautiful Hungarian Parliament and the famous Chain Bridge. This was my first visit to an art'otel and my first visit to Hungary. I loved both. Staff are friendly and efficient. For art lovers this is paradise with the American artist Donald Sultan's work on display throughout the hotel including every bedroom. I can assure you that this amounts to a lot of art even down to the design of bedroom carpets with a needle and thread theme. A special word of thanks to Becci who shared her passion for travel and ensured I did not miss breakfast on my last morning by providing a personal alarm clock call. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The hotel is in a prime location on the Buda side of Budapest and Pest is within a walking distance. Indeed during my three days in a chilly Budapest, I wrapped up warm and walked around Buda and Pest. For those who are less keen on walking there are cheap taxis and a good public transport system to get you to any location in Budapest. I look forward to returning in the spring or summer of the new year.

Room Tip: It is well worth upgrading to a Danube room which offers amazing views of the Hungarian Parliament and the Chain Bridge.
