This hotel took our breath away by the sheer vantageness if the location where it is - it’s on the Buda shores of the Danube - with the Parluament house in all its glory right outside your window ( if you get the rooms with views which we got) and the chain bridge just a few minutes away which when you cross connects you to the Pest side.
The hotel staff were very friendly and understood and helped us on every ask very well.
The only slight shadow we had in experience was with housekeeping which was a bit shoddy and also we lost a few Euros in coins which we left outside probably assumed as tips. Not that this could deter our fabulous experience . Will definitely visit again when again back. Great hotel go for it.

We stayed at art’otel for 2 nights during our visit to Budapest. We had booked a room with view and got the one with the most amazing view ever. We could see the Danube, Parliament House and the Chain Bridge from our room. The breakfast was not included in our room rates and hence added that at the time if checking in for 15 euros per person per breakfast.

The hotel is located in Buda side near the metro station which connects to the main railway station. The tram goes from right outside the hotel but we never used it. Most of main spots we walked from the hotel. Not many options to eat like those found on the other side of the river.

The rooms apart from giving great views need some serious attention from the management. They looked tired with serious refurbishment needs. The carpets, the bathroom door, the table all need some repairs or changes.

Another big issue that we faced was that the wifi never worked inside our room. We complained thrice but it didn’t get better!

Both the days breakfast was same but good.

Shall recommend the hotel if you are looking for great views but not luxury!

Dear sharvani, thank you for taking the time to post your review on TripAdvisor following your recent stay with us here in the art’otel budapest. I appreciate all the good words on our location, on the view- however, we will take the negatives on board as well, to make sure we improve our offering in future.
Our team works tirelessly to ensure that all of our accommodations exceed our brand standards in terms of cleanliness and conditions. During the last 3 years every room has been totally refurbished, bought High Quality mattresses in every room and we are continuing it and renew the bathrooms and the lobby area as well. Once again we appreciate your feedback.
I really hope that you will visit us again in the future and that we will be able to exceed all your expetations that time. Best wishes, Tamás Márton, Front Office Manager

Nice big rooms with mini bar fridge. Location allows for walking across the chain bridge for lots of dinning choices. Restaurant is fine but inconsistent. We ate at the restaurant 3 of the 4 next nights. I have a gluten allergy and was impressed with the willingness to accommodate the first night. The second night ordered the same thing and was impressed when they brought me gluten free bread fresh out of the oven. The third night I ordered the same thing and there was no bread offering for anyone at the table and all the food seemed less flavourful. The hotel itself was great but the restaurant needs to work on consistency.

We checked in the hotel which is located at the bank of Danube River. The hotel is located at a strategic location over looking the parliament building of Budapest. The back of the hotel is facing the fisherman's bastions
