Good base, close to Elizabeth bridge. Room was comfortable and very warm. Staff were extremely helpful, gave us loads of info about the location etc when we arrived. We arrived a couple of hours before check-in, room was ready for us. There was a good choice of foods at breakfast. The room had a fridge, but no coffee making facilities in room. Vending machines available in reception. When you enter the building steps up to reception don't look particularly welcoming - the buidling itself is very old not much that can be done to change this. However, for the price it was very good value and staff were very friendly and professional.

Excellent location, right next to Elisabeth bridge and Váci utca. Friendly staff and flexible check-in times. Spacious rooms with several amenities, although there was no hairdryer, flip-flops and shampoos. There is also no elevator in the hotel. All in all it is a fair hotel in a great location and you will be OK if you spend all day outside sightseeing and you just return for a night’s sleep.

Having visited recently I can say this hotel is in a great location.
The River, walking road and Metro station are within a couple of hundred feet.
There are restaurants, bars and many shops within minutes of leaving the hotel.
The downside is the building is run down, it doesn’t have a bar, the WiFi is poor and the rooms are just about adequate to stay in.
If it’s just a room for sleeping in you need in a great location then this is for you.
If you want more I’d look elsewhere.
The staff are friendly and helpful but that unfortunately isn’t always enough.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 days and it was all right. Small rooms and a bit noise from the street - however the location is great within a walking distance for many tourist attractions. Good breakfast in a very special and decorated cellar.
