First Hostel Stay

I have nothing to compare it to, but my experience was positive. Great location in busy area and central to main activities. Quiet and clean. I would recommend it to any first time solo travelers. Thumbs up.

Awesome Hostel. Perfect Location.

I stayed for 2 days. It is at prime location for partying. The Iconic Ruin pub szimpla kert is 100 m away. One club is just opposite to hostel like 10 steps away. Rooms were clean. They even host a wine tasting kind of free event every evening to let solo travellers get to know each other. I also got upgraded to individual suite. All in all one of the best Hostels I have stayed. Staff was very friendly. Enthusiastically telling about the places to visit and all

Nice cozy hostel in the hearth of Budapest

nice rooms, good beds with curtains, amazing atmospheren pro-staff, possibility to breakfeast, well-occupied kitchen, offers a tea and coffee free, good prices for rooms, shops around 24/7, bars and restaurans all around, good location

Budapest visit

We decided to come to Budapest very last minute and I could not be more pleased. The hostel is in a perfect part of town, located close to many great bars and restaurants. Staff couldn't be nicer. Did our laundry for us and were very friendly, plus I love 24 hr staff! The beds were very comfortable and had so much space, had 2 outlets each and the curtains added so much privacy and blocked out all light. The hostel was also unbelievably affordable compared to other EU countries and for what we got! I can't wait to stay here again!

Perfect for a city trip!

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, excellent location. Couldn't have wished for a better hostel than Maverick City Lodge. Will definitely book again when going to Budapest. Thanks a lot!
