Loved the hostel and it was very well located amongst all the great ruin Bars! Great time and well recommended, except that we booked a private room with private bathroom and they made us share bathroom with these 2 Russian girls that don’t know how to respect people. They were drying their hair at 3 am with all the doors wide open. I told them to stop and they moaned for a while. In that way, I felt like the hostel promises one thing and then doesn’t deliver.

I enjoyed my stay at Maverick from the moment I arrived. Nikki at the front desk was extremely friendly and informative! I also got an unexpected and totally appreciated upgrade from an 8 bed room to a private room! Everything was clean, towels were included, the bed and pillows were comfy, and a 10% coupon to the restaurant provided upon checkin. It was an easy walk from the main train station and the subway system. They also offered luggage storage which was great so I didn’t have to carry my at all day after I checked out. Shower early to ensure a hot shower. I’m happy to have been a guest and would recommend it to any traveler looking for a nice hostel.

Wonderful place to stay overnight in Budapest! Very nice staff who will always help to resolve all issues, but in fact everything is so convenient that they do not arise. When checking in, it was a pleasant surprise that they gave us a room even better than we booked without any surcharges. It was really nice. I strongly advise you to stay there, this is definitely a wonderful place.
