Serving was really fast, food was delicious and portions were more than enough at affordable prices. It was worth the 20km detour from highway.

I visited this restaurant at the evening. The personnel is friendly and nice. You get really big portions, but I would appreciate a little bit smaller and more taste.

Visited the Restaurant while passing through Kecskemet and got to sit outside in their garden on a very warm evening. I ordered a starter and a main course not knowing the size of the portions to expect. The main course (Kondorosi Steak) was a mountain of fried potatoes which 3 pieces of pork escalope on top. Huge portion, great taste. Absolutely recommended! Prices very reasonable!

We picked this restaurant due to TripAdvisor reviews & also the fact that many Hungarian reviewers had given it high marks. The ratings proved well founded. A little difficult to find but on the edge of the CBD and <500m from our overnight stop at Mediterran Vendeghaz, who also recommended this traditional Hungarian restaurant. A relatively old street corner site with fine courtyard - maybe just too early for our visit! Inside the rooms have plenty of local paraphernalia & large tables. Hungarian speaking with a little German but with a clear English menu too. The menu is lengthy & DOES have vegetarian options as well as plenty of pork & duck. We had the "best from pork" with steaks, sausage & piles of butter noodles and the grilled chicken slices rolled in bacon. We expanded to a mixed pickle salad too. If there is a clear fault in these exceptionally tasty platefuls, it is how full the plates are. Neither of us have small appetites but we could not possibly finish what we were given & tried to say in a mix of sign language that we wished we'd been served less. We stopped deliberately so as at least to sample a dessert (1 between 2!) - the pleasingly dramatic flaming cottage cheese pie with apricot & almond - excellent. The wine list looked fine but we stopped on draught Hungarian beer & wine by the glass, though we tried a good Tokaji with our dessert & 2 glasses of palinka arrived gratis when we asked for the bill. Service was attentive & fast, and we felt we'd had a solid puszta evening. This was not cheap by Hungarian standards but €32 for 2 seemed very good value to us. A must if you need a good meal with a bit of class in this area.
