Basic but very good value with great spa facilities. Perfect for visiting the old town. Breakfast is simple and could have got a tad boring. Check in is also the spa foyer but don't be put off as staff are friendly and helpful.

Mom, dad and two boys (4 and 7) were very satisfied with this hotel. Location between the sea port and the old town was good and our boys really enjoyed swimming in warm pools suitable for their age, height and swimming skills. The boys also enjoyed the family room with two floors ;). Parents think that family room with a fridge and a little kitchen was practical for families.

Location of this hotel is actually quite good. It is bit hard to find if you visit that place first time. The room was okay for that price but that is actually all. It was bit hard to adjust the water temperature of the shower and I am not so sure that the sheets were totally clean. Breakfast was not worth to even mention.

As far as the Hotel goes it's not so good, I feel the rooms were just an add on to the business. Room was clean but unlike other reviews there was no fridge and two massive skylights in the ceiling and the worst pillows I have ever tried to sleep on and towels that were paper thin. The location is great so I can see why our tour company booked it but it was the worse hotel of my five week holiday.

Hotel is a stretched description as people have said, it's a leisure centre with gaudily decorated rooms attached. Well located a quick walk from the old town centre with large parking (noisy). We were able to leave our bags in a very tightly packed luggage room prior to check-in, as we had arrived early. Check in was efficient and rooms are very clean, with mini-fridge so you can stock up at the Rimi nearby. We had a large wet room as our shower/toilet. Protect your toilet rolls people, they get soaked! Room was large on first floor of adjacent building, with 5-6 steps down to the room on entry from corridor. On reading other reviews we were lucky not to have any skylights, just a half a window at floor level. Curtains are pretty transparent, so not great if you need dark to sleep bring an eye mask. Room was warm in August and no a/c, so it was the usual choice between losing sleep due to noise (bring earplugs) or heat. SPA is available free of charge as long as you go in the morning and are only there for 1.5 hours! Very specific instructions presumably to ensure the best revenue for the leisure centre. Husband was determined to go before breakfast and he enjoyed his visit. Breakfast however is a scrum, not enough seating areas and very basic choices as things run out quickly and are slow to be replenished. That said, if all you need is a place to sleep and treat the spa and brekkie as a bonus, then its absolutely fine. Overall a clean place to sleep (eye mask and ear plugs required), quick to get into the old city for the culture and the new city with restaurants and bars are close too.
