.Had a great bike tour with Riga Bike Tours. Marcus well very knowledgeable and well informed and led the group (there were 4 of us) at a perfect pace stopping regularly, to provide information, and allow time for us to take photos. It was the first city bike tour that I had been on, and was very impressed, and with information from Marcus plan to do the same in Tallinn

We went on two 2-3 hour bike tours with them on consecutive days. Very reasonably priced at 15 Euros with a 5 Euros discount for the second day.
The bikes were of a high standard and well maintained.
The first day we joined the midday crossing south of the river over the main cable stay bridge then travelled back to the Art Deco district and the parks.
Day two we joined the 3pm tour travelled down the embankment crossed to look at the soviet TV transmitter then crossed back to the Moscow and Jewish parts of the city, quite dilapidated but fascinating. Final stop for both tours was the impressive and highly symbolic Freedom Moment.
Both tour guides ( including Arseny ) were very knowledgeable.
The weather was quite wet and a disposable polythene poncho was a good investment. The pace was relaxed with numerous stops and would suit most cyclists.

I did the self guided tour at Easter.
It was perfect, the staff gave me all the equipment I needed and an excellent map and instructions. They bought the first train ticket for me and both my hotels for the two nights I'd be cycling.
The hotels were both perfect for what I needed and good places to relax at the end of a day cycling.
The route was between 10-25km a day over 3 days so nothing to strenuous but it gave me time to sightsee and stop off at museums and places of interest on route.
All the towns and things advised to visit were great!
Great trip to do as a solo traveller and see the countryside and towns of Latvia!

We had a 5-hr private bike tour for the 3 of us with Agnes. She was very personalble, engaging and knowledgeable, and flexible to our needs.
We highly recommend this tour company.

7 of us hired bikes and the tour guide (think it was Marcus from Melbourne) on our first full day in Riga and it was fab. Great to get around the city, it wasn't too busy when we were there, and Marcus and his colleague were great in looking after the varying levels within our group, mainly most not having been on a bike in decades! It was a wet and cold day in Riga but I'd do it again and again. Very informative, great fun, a fab way to see the city whilst learning the history and quirks of a beautiful place.

Thank you for the lovely feedback. It was a pleasure to show you around Riga in the cold and wet, your group was great fun. And riding a bike is just like riding a bike, you never forget how to do it, even after 20 years! Also, thank you for recommending us to another group who joined us a few days later. We hope to see you back in Riga in better weather. Regards, Marcus from Melbourne and the Riga Bike Tours team.
