As our plane was delayed it was 2.30am Riga time that we arrived at out hotel. The charming and efficient receptionist quickly checked us in and we were given a very comfortable room. I had a proper King sized bed and there was a single for my companion. Everything you needed was there …dressing gowns, tea making facilities, free wifi and safe , mini bar etc.
It’s location was superb ….just a short walk away from the beautiful old town hall and more importantly two doors away from the fantastic restaurant my companion had booked us into for Saturday night.
Breakfast was included and was not just cold meats and cheeses …there were several lovely salads /slaws. To drink you could have orange / apple juice…tea choice several black & fruit teas as well as a coffee machine which did hot chocolate, mocha etc.
Would definitely go back or recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely weekend with my girlfriend in Riga. Riga is a lovely city with amazing buildings, people, culture and architecture in the Baltic area. If you love old architect, building combined with the new this is the right place for you.

This hotel is in Riga city centre in the old town. The hotel is neat and tidy, cosy and lovely. There is sauna (you need to pay in advance) and restaurant in the hotel. The room was fantastic, spacious, warm and comfortable, the staff were absolutely helpful and friendly, but you know in the eastern block nobody could smile :). The hotel response time for my questions by email was amazing.
We had just bad and breakfast but the breakfast was well enough. There was a wild selection of food and drink for breakfast. The hotel was cheap and good value for your money. You need to stay on the right floor because of noise street. There is a lift so you can choose the higher floor.
There are four pubs nearby with loud music and they are open until 6 am, these are also good places to relax.

The marketplace or the mall, supermarket, cafe's, restaurant, museums, cathedral pub just a walk distance. The hotel is not so far from the airport, you will be able to reach this place by taxi around 10-15 EURs (Baltic Taxi recommended they are fair) and by bus 22 is just a walk distance from the first stop after crossing the river (River Daugava). The admission for the museum and cathedrals is not free.

I would like to recommend to go to Riga because this is a fantastic place and cheap.

Room Tip: Choose the room in higher floor (from the top level you will see the city centre) and if there is no view to the street that would be great.

Nice hotel in the old city of Riga. This hotel is walking distance of all the landmarks in Old city of Riga. During the check-in the receptionist gave great information about the things to do in the Old city making notes on a city map.
The breakfast was good in a gorgeous looking basement.

We had a nice, romantic stay with my boyfriend in the junior suite. The room was spacious, had a nice bathtub and was very clean. Close to shopping opportunities, many restaurants and cafe's nearby. I emailed the staff earlier about some things and got a fast and thorough response. The service at the reception was very helpful and good, but maybe a little cold. We also booked the sauna -area for an hour and it was very nice. Except for the fact you couldn't throw water on the stones, which for a Finn is just ridiculous. You need the steam for the sauna experience! The restaurant was small and not open on sundays. The breakfast was really good!
