Štumpovka is very nice, newly built wooden challet/hotel of mountain type.
Providing also restaurant which si quite nice with very good food.
Price/quality is realy high.Meal was tasty and drinks were quite ok with the price according to the "high mountain" pricing which is usual on Czech mountains.
I do recomend to spend some time under the hotel where are swing-bechnes are situated on the very edge of hill with excelent view to valley where Rokytnice is situated.

The hotel is an ideal location for hiking on the Horni Misecky, Vrbatovku, Labskou boudu, Harrachov etc. The rooms are clean. The staff is nice. Excellent cuisine.
We had breakfast and dinner included. Breakfast was buffet. Dinner consisted of four courses.

We were 8 hiking up the hill and we decided to have lunch in the restaurant. It was really a cool stylish place with great service with large smile and very tasty food. They are know for blueberry dumplings, but all the rest was also really great. I may only recommend it.

I used only the restaurant, so I can't rate hotel services. It's perfect place when you need to take a rest off skiing. Coffee, fresh meals and amazing views - that's all I want when I'd like to sit a while enjoying the nature.

This hotel is located just under the ridges of Krkonoše mountains. Accessible by cable-car, on foot or by car. Hotel has parking place for 10 or so cars. The winding road is very steep, very narrow and closes in winter.

Hotel is reminiscent of traditional Krkonoše region architecture, made of wood. Interiors are made in wood as well. Rooms are spacious, clean, have TV, fridge, shower and WC. Price per night is just below 30 EUR including breakfast and dinner.

The hotel restaurant is far from gourmet experience. This being said, the rolls (rohlíky) they serve for breakfast are wonderful - hotel claims they bake it directly in the hotel bakery according some special recipe.

The only disturbing practice I witnessed is also related to the restaurant. I was very surprised to see dogs were allowed into the restaurant. And we are not talking small dogs or one exceptional case. Big dogs were regularly let into restaurant with their owners bringing in dog food and feeding it to their canine friends. I understand pet owners would welcome this, but with so many little kids inside and diners who don´t necessarily like to share their dining room with someone´ s dog, it´ s disturbing to say the least.
