We stayed there friday-saturday night. There were wedding celebration in the restaurant downstairs. Music was very loud whole night, so didn't get any sleep.

Rooms need slight renovation, beds really have seen their better days.
Breakfast ok, but not wonderful. You can get your stomach full, but that's it.
Location is ok, you can walk to see the castle and beautiful riverside promenade.

I came to Narva to see what an Estonian/Russian city was like. It is a major border post. The hotel is well located and has an excellent and economical restaurant. I was able to walk to almost all the places I wished to visit as well as use my rental car to cover further away locations. All in all a good visit.

The hotel looks well from the outside, but inside - welcome in 80's. Rooms are small, beds not comfortable, TV (very old) didn't work. A recepcionist asked for payment, although we did it 2 weeks earlier by a money transfer. The room was not cleaned once, during 6-days stay. Breakfasts are satisfactory, but modest and same every day. One night: disco in the hotel restaurant until 5am. Anyway: cheap, but don't expect too much.

The hotel is pretty comfy and fine in most respects. It's been refurbished quite well. The city suffered from the Soviet times, and so you can't expect wonderful architecture, but some of the staff really do need to realise that Stalin has long gone. The two women on the reception desk on the morning I left were so rude it was actually quite funny - like Fawlty Towers Soviet-style. The kitchen staff were pretty glum too, but fair enough. The food was ok. The afternoon staff were fine, so clearly it's not a matter of training but just a matter of who you get. Good luck. There are not many alternatives in town, and it was actually quite interesting to experience first-hand what it must have been like in hotels back then.

Hotel Inger is a recently renovated (but still pretty basic) hotel in Narva, a town which, even though a part of the EU still feels much like Russia.
The rooms are ok considering the price. The hotel staff can be very rude - a remnant from Russia. The food in the restaurant is ok, too, but nothing to write home about. Breakfast is quite adequate.
All in all, a clean place to stay.
